From pioneering policies, combating consumer debt, spearheading digitisation initiatives, to championing sustainable finance, the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) has been the bedrock of Singapore's rise as a global financial hub.

To commemorate its 50th anniversary, ABS commissioned Layers to tell the ABS story and recount its inspiring journey through a branding video which will also be played during ABS’ Anniversary Gala Night, to many distinguished guests from the banking industry, including President Tharman Shanmugaratnam as the Guest of Honour.

Using the metaphor of a garden, the video brings its audience on a journey, showcasing ABS’ pivotal role in shaping Singapore’s financial landscape, its ability to thrive amidst adversity, and how its growth also parallels that of the nation — akin to a resilient and flourishing garden.
