In October 2021, UOB launched the Pivot Programme — an initiative designed to empower employees to explore new career paths and build future-ready skills. Layers was commissioned to bring this vision to life and inspire more employees to embrace the opportunity to re-skill and up-skill for in-demand roles.

The film follows the journeys of Sherlyn and Lisabelle, whose career transitions are portrayed as a challenging yet rewarding hike — full of unexpected twists, steep climbs, and moments of discovery. Their stories show that with the right support and mindset, change isn’t just possible — it’s transformative.
